Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Installer/Courier Technician to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely delivery, installation, and maintenance of medical equipment to our clients. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with extensive driving, capable of lifting heavy equipment, and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure installations meet our high standards. Full-time and part-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport and deliver medical equipment to various locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Install, configure, and test medical devices at client sites, ensuring they operate correctly and meet client specifications. Provide clients with clear instructions on the proper use and maintenance of installed equipment. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and any maintenance performed. Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during delivery and installation processes. Communicate effectively with clients to address any questions or concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. Proven experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or a related field. Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 80 lbs. Comfortable with extensive driving; experience as a "road warrior" with multiple hours of driving daily. Wheelchair experience is highly desirable. Experience driving vehicles with trailers is a significant advantage. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
