Full Job Description Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver, where your role is vital in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services to individuals requiring assistance getting to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency destinations. You will be the friendly face and dependable driver that ensures clients arrive on time and in comfort, all while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism. This position offers an energetic environment where your driving skills and customer service excellence make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Responsibilities Safely operate vans, or specialized vehicles to transport clients to and from medical facilities, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing courteous support for those with mobility challenges or special needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition. Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and client information while following company policies for documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare providers, and dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and address any concerns promptly. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility aids or luggage. Ensure vehicles are clean, organized, and well-maintained to provide a comfortable experience for passengers. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Familiarity with paratransit services or heavy lifting techniques for assisting passengers with mobility devices. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting. Pay:
$16.00 – $18.00 per hour
