Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver (Full-Time) Viking Medical Transportation is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Full-Time Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver to join our team. We are family owned and operated since 2019. We provide ambulatory, wheelchair and gurney stretcher transports for all ages (predominantly older clients) to and from appointments, hospital discharges to facilities or homes, dialysis appointments and social outings. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a paycheck. We want an individual who is committed to serving others, takes pride in their work, and wants an opportunity to work in the non-emergency medical transportation industry. What We're Looking For Clean driving record Clean criminal background Physically strong enough to load and unload patients in wheelchairs or gurneys from our vehicles. It physically requires pushing, pulling and lifting. (All training will be provided) Reliable and punctual. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Strong customer service skills with compassion for patients. Ability to work independently while being part of a team. Willingness to stay productive throughout the workday—not someone who spends their time sitting on their phone instead of doing what they are paid to do. Willingness to work in a fast pace, everchanging environment. No day will ever be the same. Responsibilities Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional vehicle. Complete required documentation accurately. Represent Viking Medical Transportation in the best possible way with honesty and integrity. Provide respectful, dependable, and compassionate service to every client. Paid per hour $17-$19 per hour depending on experience and background to start.
