Role Description:
Nurse on the Run, LLC is looking for a 1099 independent subcontractor to deliver NFPM treatments in Boise Idaho. This part-time, mobile chronic pain treatment technician role is based in the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Fruitland) Nurse on the Run, LLC will provide essential support to pain treatment technicians in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include providing neurofunctional pain relief treatments to patients in their homes, managing medical records, utilizing medical terminology accurately, and supporting mobile medical office operations. The role also involves direct patient care, ensuring comfort and addressing patient needs during their treatment experience. All training will be provided by Nurse on the Run, LLC. This is not a traditional "clock-in/clock-out" job- this is an opportunity to operate with autonomy, while being supported by a structured clinical and operational system. Qualifications:
Proficiency in clinical procedures such as measuring vital signs Ability to work independently managing patient appointments Must be self motivated and well organized Proficiency in medical terminology Ability to communicate and engage effectively with clients and supervisors Experience with medical records and office operations, and management including appointment scheduling, document management such as data entry, charting, and compliance with confidentiality regulations Skill in patient care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and health education Strong organizational, multitasking, and teamwork abilities Current Medical Assistant certification, EMT licensing and CPR certification required Ability to pass a background check Ability to lift or carry approximately 30lbs without assistance, and climb stairs with equipment Compassion for elderly population Experience in mobile medical services or pain management is a plus, but not required Reliable transportation with proof of insurance required Reside in Boise Idaho (preferred but not required) Must understand importance of maintaining client/patient relationships 1099 subcontractor with own liability and malpractice insurance (assistance provided) Must have excellent communication skills, as client/patient base are elderly and not always proficient with smart phones, etc.
Schedule:
Flexible part-time / per diem schedule Hours are based on patient availability and existing appointment schedules. All patient visits are conducted Monday - Friday between 9:00am and 5:00pm What you'll do: Provide neural functional pain management treatments in an in-home setting Perform electro analgesia therapy at each visit Administer IV therapy when needed, and if within your scope of practice and licensure Incorporate basic health coaching during sessions Communicate with patients and assist with on boarding Build relationships with referring providers overtime Manage your own schedule and patient flow. Compensation $40.00 per visit to start for existing clients. (Each visit is approximately 75 minutes) $60.00 per visit for any clients you personally refer. There will be approximately 10-15 visits per week to start in northwest Boise, with the opportunity to grow as much as you desire. Responsibilities Deliver pain management treatments directly to patients in their homes using portable equipment. Equipment will be provided by Nurse on the Run, LLC. Assess patient needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures. Set up, operate, and maintain medical devices used for pain relief, including electrical stimulation, or other modalities. Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer any questions related to their pain management plan. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered, patient responses, and any observations during visits. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures and proper equipment handling. Coordinate with company leadership to ensure continuity of care and follow-up as needed. Skills Prior experience in medical or healthcare settings is preferred; certification in pain management techniques is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple appointments efficiently. Knowledge of medical equipment used for pain treatment and basic troubleshooting skills. Training will be provided by employer. Compassionate approach with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for travel between locations.
