at Gem State Staffing in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Gem State Staffing is hiring a Warehouse/Delivery Driver for a permanent, full-time position in Jerome, Idaho . This position combines local delivery driving with warehouse support duties. You'll deliver windows and door s to customer jobsites, assist with loading/unloading, and help in warehouse operations when not on deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Drive company truck loaded with windows and doors to customer job sites or other assigned locations. Load and unload trucks according to delivery paperwork. Operate a mobile barcode scanner at each delivery location. Protect products from damage during loading, transport, and unloading. Conduct visual quality inspections on products before delivery. Collect payment for COD orders, issue receipts, and obtain customer signatures for deliveries. Report shortages, discrepancies, or anticipated needs to management. Maintain DOT logbook (electronic or paper) and comply with all DOT regulations. Assist warehouse staff with inventory, physical counts, and organizing stock when not driving. Follow all workplace safety requirements, including use of PPE. Report vehicle maintenance needs promptly and operate vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
