Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Long Distance Mover/Driver and be the driving force behind seamless relocations across cities and states! You'll be responsible for transporting household or commercial goods over long distances, handling loading and unloading with care, and maintaining a professional, positive attitude throughout every journey. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload items using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling of fragile or heavy goods Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during pickups and deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety and compliance standards Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal condition and report any maintenance needs promptly Assist with tasks including inventory management, organizing storage areas, and preparing goods for transport Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and delivery receipts Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or mover, preferably with long-distance route driving experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; DOT Medical Card is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with box trucks, heavy lifting techniques Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to load & unload items safely using appropriate equipment; physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving tasks Knowledge of route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency Willingness to learn new skills is essential Embark on an exciting career that keeps you moving forward!
