In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients, clients, and staff to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring a smooth, comfortable, and timely experience. Your role is essential in providing reliable transportation services that support patient care and enhance overall healthcare accessibility. All positions are paid, emphasizing the importance of your contribution to our mission of compassionate transportation. Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vans to transport patients. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and comfort for all passengers. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, healthcare staff, and passengers to coordinate schedules and provide updates on arrival times. Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure secure transportation at all times. Provide excellent customer service by greeting passengers warmly, addressing their needs professionally, and ensuring a positive experience. Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues promptly to maintenance teams for swift resolution. Requirements Valid Chauffeur driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in driving or commercial driving preferred. Proven experience as a driver or bus driver; familiarity with paratransit or school bus driving is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members. Ability to perform some lifting safely when assisting passengers or handling equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and safety procedures. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence. Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours including early mornings or evenings as needed.
