Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a
PROMEDXP
® NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transportation) Driver, where you will play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals requiring non-emergency medical trips. Your energetic and customer-focused approach will ensure passengers arrive comfortably and on time, supporting their health and well-being. Responsibilities Safely operate shuttle buses, limousines, or other commercial vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other non-emergency destinations. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the trip. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles, including routine inspections and reporting any mechanical issues promptly. Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures to ensure secure transportation at all times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, healthcare providers, and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any special needs or concerns. Handle heavy lifting when assisting passengers with mobility devices or luggage, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. Document trip details accurately in logs and reports for compliance and operational purposes. Skills Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or similar commercial driving roles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse passengers. Knowledge of paratransit operations and non-emergency medical transportation requirements. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist passengers with mobility challenges. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance routines and basic troubleshooting skills. Excellent driving record with experience in limousine or school bus driving preferred. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond to passenger needs promptly.
