Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a valid Class D license, strong driving skills, and the ability to handle multiple client loads.

The Transport Driver play a vital role in maintaining the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of our clients and passengers. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of paratransit vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness; perform routine maintenance checks as needed. Load and unload wheelchair, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs. Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery timelines to ensure punctuality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules or any issues during transit Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during operations Requirements Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type( Class D) Proven experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, bus driving, or limousine services; paratransit or school bus driving experience is a plus Strong communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle maintenance tasks related to vehicle upkeep Excellent driving record with a clean background check; ability to pass any required drug screenings Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures Reliable transportation to report for shifts on time; flexibility to work various schedules as needed This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to safety and customer satisfaction.
