Job Description

The Medical Equipment Delivery Driver is responsible for driving to and from healthcare locations to complete delivery and equipment management tasks for a district office, including customer delivery and pick-up of medical equipment; processing, cleaning, inspecting, and testing equipment including inventory maintenance. Build relationships with patients, families and care givers. Monday - Friday, 7:30 - 4:00, on call rotation. What You Will Do in This Role? Safely load, secure, and deliver medical equipment to customers. Retrieves equipment from customer locations, safely transporting the equipment back to the office. Educate and engage customers at the time of delivery, keeping customers informed on the features and functionality of the equipment Complete all paperwork in a timely manner to ensure accurate documentation for billing, inventory, and regulatory compliance. Obtain appropriate signatures to verify receipt of items delivered Operate assigned vehicle safely and efficiently Report major repairs, service needs, incidents or accidents to proper authorities Takes "on call" time on a predetermined, rotating basis during week and weekends Performs warehouse and office maintenance tasks as required
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license in state of residence Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Delivery experience, preferred Driving experience, required Experience working in healthcare, home health or the medical field, preferred
