Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Medical Transportation Driver, where your passion for safe, reliable driving meets compassionate service. In this vital role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. Your expertise in passenger vehicle operation combined with excellent customer service skills will make a meaningful difference in our clients' lives. Duties Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport patients and clients on local routes Follow GPS navigation systems to ensure timely and efficient pickups and drop-offs Assist passengers with mobility needs, including heavy lifting or manual handling when necessary Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of vehicles to ensure safety and reliability Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare facilities, and dispatch teams to coordinate schedules and address any concerns Adhere strictly to traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during all driving activities Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any vehicle issues promptly to ensure safety standards are met Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, or chauffeur driving passenger vehicles such as vans or limousines Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating passenger vans or heavy-duty vehicles preferred Knowledge of GPS navigation tools and local driving routes for efficient route planning Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients of diverse backgrounds Ability to perform heavy lifting or manual handling tasks safely when assisting passengers or loading equipment Familiarity with medical transportation protocols, including adherence to health and safety standards Understanding of local traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills help improve lives every day!
