Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring a comfortable and reliable experience. Your role is essential in providing compassionate service while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other scheduled destinations Follow designated local driving routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including handling mobility aids or personal belongings with manual handling techniques Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal safety and performance Communicate clearly with clients regarding schedules, routes, and any delays or changes in plans Adhere strictly to all state transportation regulations and traffic laws during every trip Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment and addressing client needs professionally Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle driver is highly desirable Experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or medical transport vehicles Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes Knowledge of state transportation regulations and safety standards for passenger vehicles Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients or handling equipment Strong communication skills for client interaction and coordination with dispatch teams Demonstrated responsibility in maintaining vehicle condition and ensuring compliance with safety protocols Join us in delivering reliable, compassionate transportation services that make a difference in people's lives!
