Rapid Response is looking to fill First Responder AND Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) positions. To be a First Responder you only need to have a valid CPR certification (we can help you obtain this). First Responders drive the ambulance and assist EMT's as needed. We have full-time and part-time positions open. Our full-time employees typically work 3 shifts a week. Our available shifts are the following:

• Monday
• Saturday 7am
• 7pm•Monday•Saturday 9am•9pm•Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 4am•4pm

First Responder Requirements:

• Must be 23 and over
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must have a clear driving record
• Must have a valid CPR certification (we can help you get this)
• Must be willing to drive an ambulance safely in urban areas
• Must be willing to assist the EMT during patient care situations
• Must be able to assist lifting and operating stretcher and other equipment used on ambulances
• Must be ok with transporting COVID positive patients when needed (all proper PPE, respirators, gloves, gowns, eye protection, and disinfectants will be provided)

As a First Responder you do not need to have completed an EMT course, you will only need CPR. EMT's will provide BLS to patients in both emergency and non emergency situations.
