Reno Sparks Carson City Elks Key Responsibilities Safely transport ambulatory passengers to and from medical appointments, including long-distance trips (100+ miles) Follow all scheduled trip assignments provided by dispatch Maintain regular communication with dispatch before, during, and after trips Provide courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times Assist passengers with safe entry and exit from the vehicle when needed Use required routing and trip management software (e.g., MediRoutes) on a smartphone or tablet Maintain accurate trip documentation and comply with all reporting requirements Comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws and regulations Scheduling & Work Structure No fixed start or end times Trips are routed by dispatch Long-distance trips will be assigned 40 + work hour weeks Trips available 7 days a week Vehicle & Equipment Requirements Reliable, clean, and well-maintained personal vehicle Valid vehicle registration and current insurance Smartphone or tablet capable of running required applications Vehicle must meet all safety and operational standards Contractor Responsibilities Fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance, and operating costs Personal and vehicle insurance coverage Taxes and business expenses Compliance with all independent contractor requirements Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Professional demeanor and strong communication skills Ability to sit and drive for extended periods Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
