In this vital role, you will provide safe, reliable, and transportation services to patients requiring access to medical care. Your primary goal is to ensure that clients arrive at their appointments safely and on time while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, and customer service. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals needing specialized transportation support. Responsibilities Safely operate Ambulette vehicles to transport patients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or other destinations, ensuring comfort and security throughout the journey Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support as needed for those with mobility challenges or special needs Maintain accurate documentation of trips, including pick-up and drop-off times, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness before each shift Communicate clearly with patients, healthcare providers, and dispatch staff to coordinate schedules and address any special requirements or concerns Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to guarantee safe transportation at all times Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and effective communication skills Requirements CDL C license with a clean driving record; experience in ambulette, bus or commercial driving preferred Proven experience with paratransit services, school bus driving, or similar roles involving passenger transportation Strong communication skills in English and Spanish is a +. Compassionate attitude towards working with individuals with disabilities.
