Medical Records/ Transportation Driver

Job Description:

This is an exciting dual role for an experienced healthcare provider (preferably an STNA) to work as both the facility transport driver as well as handling the Medical Records for the facility. The transportation duties will include transporting residents on outings, to doctor appointments and other destinations as needed. The Medical Records duties will include maintaining medical records and health information systems for the facility in accordance with federal, state and facility guidelines. #

CHSJOBS Experience and Skills:

We are seeking dependable and responsible individuals with an outstanding driving record and ability to assist residents to and from the vehicle. Prefer candidates with previous experience in working with the elderly in a long-term care environment. Candidates need to have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, along with legal aspects of health information coding and indexing.
