Job Summary:
Are you a reliable and safety-conscious driver looking for a full-time opportunity? We are recruiting a Transit Driver in Union County. We need someone excellent with people, professional in communication, dedicated, and excited about learning the world of transportation. We offer the following pay and benefits This is a full-time position (30+ hours per week) with a pay range of $17.33 to $22.72 per hour. Benefits include agency-paid health and dental insurance (with Employer HSA contributions when enrolled in an applicable health plan), paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and 7.5% retirement plan contributions after one year of employment. Successful applicants will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and criminal history background check. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Position Duties Include:
  • Transport elderly persons with disabilities, and the general public to a variety of locations in the Union County area and occasionally beyond.
  • Transport clients to medical appointments as needed.
  • Maintain records on the number of passengers, miles driven, etc.
  • Responsible for fueling, routine vehicle inspections, and cleaning vehicle interiors.
