Job Description
Select Ambulance is currently looking for stretcher van drivers
Duties:
- Safely operate a van to transport patients from nursing homes and hospitals
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and professional demeanor
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and report any issues or concerns
- Keep the van clean and presentable at all times
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with passengers in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects when required for loading and unloading purposes
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is a plus Please note that this position may require heavy lifting and commercial driving.
