As a NEMT Driver, you will safely transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher passengers to and from medical appointments while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for individuals who are punctual, safety-focused, and committed to treating every passenger with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Our drivers play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive reliable transportation while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety. Qualifications Required Qualifications Must be at least 23 years of age. Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check. Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to safely lift, push, and assist passengers using wheelchairs and stretchers. Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications for trip management. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), EMS, or healthcare transportation. Experience transporting wheelchair and stretcher passengers. CPR Certification. First Aid Certification. PASS Certification. Bloodborne Pathogens Training. HIPAA Training. Responsibilities Safely transport ambulatory, wheelchair, and stretcher passengers to scheduled medical and non-medical appointments. Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle while ensuring their safety and comfort. Properly secure wheelchairs, stretchers, and mobility devices according to company and safety regulations. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized company vehicle. Complete trip documentation accurately using company software and mobile applications. Communicate effectively with dispatch, healthcare facilities, and passengers regarding trip updates. Arrive on time for scheduled pickups and maintain a high level of attendance and reliability. Follow all company policies, HIPAA regulations, DOT guidelines, and applicable state and federal transportation regulations. Immediately report accidents, incidents, vehicle concerns, passenger issues, or safety hazards to management. Provide courteous, respectful, and compassionate service to all passengers while maintaining professionalism at all times. Maintain confidentiality regarding passenger information.

$16.50 - $18.00 per hour
