Job Overview Join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and become a vital part of providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for patients requiring non-urgent medical travel. In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles such as vans to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other essential destinations. Duties Safely operate passenger vehicles including vans, other client transportation modes in compliance with all traffic laws and state transportation regulations Pick up and drop off clients at designated locations while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey Maintain clear communication with clients to confirm appointments, provide directions, and address any special needs or concerns Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability Adhere to all local driving routes, schedules, and traffic regulations to ensure punctuality and efficiency Assist passengers with mobility needs or heavy lifting as required, demonstrating compassion and professionalism at all times Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities for reporting purposes Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or shuttle driver with a strong understanding of GPS navigation systems for efficient routing Prior experience operating passenger vehicles such as vans, limousines, or shuttle buses; familiarity with passenger van operation is preferred Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type being operated; clean driving record required Knowledge of local driving routes and adherence to state transportation regulations governing commercial passenger vehicles Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Ability to perform light physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling when assisting passengers or loading equipment Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Basic vehicle maintenance skills to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety standards are met Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills meet compassionate service!
