Job Description

Bluebirds Transportation is growing and currently the largest non-emergency medical transport provider in the Treasure Valley! We are searching for responsible, reliable, and caring drivers to help serve our clients. Our team is responsible for driving patients to and from dialysis, developmental therapy, and other medical appointments. We typically operate between 5am and 7pm. We are looking for drivers who can take a Flex-Schedule, as we have the highest volume of trips around the 9am and 3pm timeframes.
Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 24 years of age. Successfully pass State certifications, including State and National background checks, defensive driving, CPR/FA, drug testing. No more than 2 moving violations on their driving record.
Vehicle Requirements:
Company vehicle availability may be possible, but we strongly prefer you to use your own vehicle if feasible. Your vehicle must pass our State's virtual inspection (basic mechanical).
Preferred vehicles:
sedans, SUVs, or minivans that are 10 years old or newer (exceptions can be made based on vehicle condition). You must have insurance coverage on your vehicle; we will provide the necessary business coverage for work use. Applicants must be available at least 25 hours per week due to insurance costs.
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour. 60 cents per loaded mile (for every passenger in your car). An additional 5 cents per loaded mile into a maintenance account to help cover unexpected repairs.
