Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver and play a vital role in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for patients requiring non-emergency medical travel. In this energetic role, you will operate passenger vehicles with precision, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs while delivering excellent customer service. Duties Safely operate various passenger vehicles including vans, shuttle buses, and chauffeur-driven cars to transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and other non-emergency destinations Navigate local driving routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems, adhering strictly to traffic laws and state transportation regulations Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing courteous support and ensuring comfort during transit Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met and vehicles are in optimal condition Communicate clearly with clients regarding pickup times, routes, and any delays or changes in schedule Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel use, and client interactions for record-keeping and compliance purposes Handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting of mobility aids or luggage while practicing proper manual handling techniques Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or bus driver is highly preferred, especially within medical transportation or chauffeur services Proven ability to operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, limousine services, or personal vehicles with professionalism and safety consciousness Familiarity with GPS navigation tools and local driving routes to optimize efficiency and punctuality Knowledge of state transportation regulations and traffic laws relevant to passenger vehicle operation Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients Experience in heavy lifting or manual handling tasks related to mobility aids or luggage is advantageous Demonstrated reliability in adhering to schedules, safety protocols, and client confidentiality standards Join us in making a difference by providing essential transportation services that enhance our clients' well-being.
