Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced part-time and full-time Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive various types of vehicles, including cars and wheelchair vans
• Transport passengers to their designated locations following predetermined routes and schedules
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and securing their belongings
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the vehicle, ensuring it is presentable at all times
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle
• Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and dispatchers to ensure smooth transportation operations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues
• Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities and complete necessary documentation

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paratransit Driver is preferred but not required Requirement
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug test
• Must have a clean BCI
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and colleagues
