Hours:
7:00am to 3:30pmResponsibilities:
- Safely operate light trucks to transport materials, goods, or equipment to assigned destinations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are handled securely and efficiently.
- Complete delivery schedules according to company guidelines and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during driving and while on duty.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, team members, and clients regarding delivery status or issues.
- Provide excellent customer service during pick-up and delivery interactions.
- Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating light trucks or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Ability to navigate routes using maps, GPS, or electronic devices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good physical condition; ability to lift and move packages as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
