Medical Appointment Transportation Driver

Looking for someone that enjoys driving and that also enjoys meeting different people. While driving these people, you will get to enjoy the beautiful scenery that the state of Utah has to offer. The best part of all of this, you get paid to enjoy all 3 of these things. With this job, you will definitely need to be flexible. You normally receive your schedule for the next day at approximately 3:00 PM the afternoon before. The schedule varies with time and passengers. The company provides non-emergent transportation to community members in Sevier, Millard, Sanpete, Juab, Carbon and Emery counties. In other words, we take people, who have no other means of transportion, to and from their medical appointments. We have members that we take on a set schedule for their medical needs and we have trips that pop in because a member has an appointment they need our assistance to get to. As you see, we cover a very rural area of Utah and many of our members go to the more urban areas (Richfield, Price, Cedar City, St. George, Provo and SLC) for appointments. Our open position is for someone who wouldn't mind their schedule being different almost daily. We do have scheduled rides on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but on those days, we also have other people who may need to go out of the area for their appointment. We design a schedule to utilize our drivers in the most efficient way, which is why a driver in this position will never have a specific start or end time. That is why it is so important to be able to be flexible. In return, the company is also flexible and will work with drivers with their needs. This job is a very fulfilling job, and a good service to our passengers.

Here are the requirements:

Must be 25 years old (insurance requirement) Pass a background/sex offender check No moving violations in the last 3 years. Pass a Drug Test (Drug-Free Workplace) Company provides a vehicle (to keep at your home only to use for work purposes) and a smartphone as an app is used to complete the trips. Training is paid for by the company. Pay is $14.00/hour.
