We provide both non-emergency stretcher and wheelchair transportation throughout central Virginia. Although it only happens a handful of times a year, our staff enjoy the long distance transports as we have transported patients as far north as CT and south as FL (and every state along the east coast in-between!). Travel pay, nice meals and upscale accommodations when traveling. The right person should have a current CPR/First Aid or willing to obtain immediately prior to employment date. for drivers, with EMTs at the higher pay scale. We are a small company and at this time unable to offer health insurance. We do offer paid training, vacation and holidays. Ideally work 4-days a week, M-F w/one day off during the week. Basically get your 40-plus in 4. Weekends off except when your rotation for on-call. On-call weekends include
AUTOMATIC OVERTIME
plus daily
INCENTIVE
pay. You are paired with a teammate and rotation is every 4th or 5th weekend (whereas you have 3-4 weekends off before next rotation). Incentive pay plus automatic overtime. Although rare, if a transport takes you past 7:00PM during week, automatic overtime from that point as well. We also offer opportunities for discharge requests that pay bonuses when getting back later
