Are you ready to level up your delivery driver and customer service talents? Olympic Pharmacy and Healthcare Services is growing, and we're seeking to add a Medical Equipment Delivery Driver to transport and set up medical equipment supplies to our patients' homes.
What You'll Do:
As an Medical Equipment Delivery Driver at Olympic, your primary responsibilities include delivering, and setting up a variety of medical equipment in patients' homes. Key duties involve providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medical equipment and supplies, and operating and maintaining company vehicles within safety guidelines. Your adaptability, technical skills, and commitment to exceptional care will make a meaningful impact on patients' lives as part of our dedicated team. Your responsibilities put on the career path towards becoming an Equipment Repair Technician.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver medical supplies and equipment safely, professionally, and on time. Safely use power tools to assemble/disassemble equipment. Provide equipment instructions and safety information to customers. Clean and maintain equipment. Confirm deliveries with customers prior to departure. Load and unload assigned vehicle with daily deliveries. Operate company vehicles on various routes and navigate through different weather and road conditions. Maintain vehicle checklists and logs. Responsible for the routine care of company vehicles & equipment. Communicate effectively with team members & customers. Adapt to changing situations and handle last-minute delivery changes. Follow all traffic laws, maintain a safe driving record, and prioritize safety at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Valid driver's license in good standing. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 Year of delivery driver experience. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items up to 100 pounds. Mechanical and technical skills for equipment assembly. Physically demanding tasks, varying weather/road conditions, and attention to detail required. Basic interpersonal and customer service skills. You have OR must obtain a required WA State DOH issued Pharmacy Assistant License. Must live within a reasonable commute; local residents preferred.
