Handi-Lift is a trusted provider of safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation services for individuals needing assistance getting to and from medical appointments, treatments, and other essential destinations. We are seeking dependable and caring drivers to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
As an NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and professional transportation for clients, including seniors and individuals with disabilities. You'll ensure each passenger has a comfortable experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, facilities, and other approved destinations. Assist clients with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed, ensuring dignity and safety. Operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and cleanliness. Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and client documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and caregivers. Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate service at all times
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old. Valid Wisconsin driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to assist clients with mobility limitations (training provided) Comfortable sitting, driving, and assisting passengers for extended periods.
Pay:
From $14.00 per hour
