In this multifaceted role, you will assist in coaching volleyball teams, helping players develop their skills and teamwork, while also providing safe and reliable transportation for team members to practices, games, and events. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to combine your passion for sports, coaching, and working with children in a lively, supportive environment. Your dedication will help foster a positive sporting experience and promote healthy activity among youth athletes. All inquiries need to be at least 23 yrs old. Responsibilities Assist head coaches in planning and executing volleyball training sessions, drills, and game strategies tailored to various skill levels Support team leadership by encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior among players Safely operate the team van or transportation vehicle to transport athletes to practices, competitions, and community events Ensure all transportation procedures comply with safety standards, including proper vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to traffic laws Help supervise children during practices and events, maintaining a fun and disciplined environment Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding schedules, safety protocols, and player progress Contribute to creating an inclusive atmosphere that promotes physical activity, confidence, and skill development in young athletes Skills Experience working with children in sports or educational settings; background in coaching or teaching physical education is highly valued Strong communication skills to effectively engage with youth players, parents, and team staff Knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and training methods; experience with other sports such as soccer or basketball is a plus Ability to lead by example with positive behavior management strategies Familiarity with high school students and behavior management techniques Experience operating vehicles safely; valid driver's license with clean driving record required First Aid and CPR is strongly encouraged Join us in creating an energetic environment where young athletes thrive!
