Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely packing, loading, and unloading items for residential and commercial moves, ensuring a smooth and efficient relocation process. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packing materials and methods Operate box trucks and commercial trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and organization of supplies Load and unload vehicles efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement of items Adhere to safe lifting practices, manual transmission operation, and heavy lifting protocols at all times Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions Skills Previous warehouse experience or moving background preferred Experience with delivery driving using box trucks or drivers is highly desirable Familiarity with route driving, adhering to traffic regulations, and DOT regulations for commercial vehicles Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and long periods of standing or walking Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude during interactions with clients Proficiency in using mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, or communication Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, efficiency, and outstanding service.
