Flexible, weekday availability preferred About Grimy Grills Grimy Grills is a professional grill cleaning company that specializes in deep cleaning high-end outdoor grills and built-in BBQ systems for homeowners in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, and surrounding areas. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Grill Cleaning Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality work, shows up on time, and can represent the company professionally at customers' homes. Job Responsibilities As a Grill Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for: Deep cleaning residential BBQ grills and built-in outdoor kitchen grills Removing grease, carbon buildup, food residue, and grime from grill surfaces Cleaning grates, burners, heat plates, fireboxes, drip trays, exterior stainless steel, and surrounding grill areas Using cleaning tools, brushes, steamers, drills, and approved cleaning products safely Taking before-and-after photos of completed jobs Communicating professionally with customers Keeping the work area clean and respecting customer property Reporting any grill issues such as ignition problems, damaged burners, rust, missing parts, or safety concerns Driving to scheduled jobs around the Phoenix/Scottsdale area What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Reliable and punctual Hardworking and comfortable with physical labor Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing a job right Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather Professional when speaking with customers Able to follow a cleaning process and company standards Comfortable using basic tools and equipment Honest, coachable, and willing to learn Requirements Must have reliable transportation Must have a valid driver's license Must be able to lift 40+ pounds Must be comfortable working on your feet and bending/kneeling during jobs Must be able to work outdoors Prior cleaning, detailing, maintenance, handyman, or service experience is a plus but not required Must be able to complete training and follow company procedures Schedule We typically schedule jobs in two appointment blocks: Morning appointments around 8:00 AM Afternoon appointments around 1:00 PM Hours may vary depending on job volume. This role can start part-time and grow into more consistent work for the right person. Compensation Pay ranges from $16.60 to $38.00 per hour , depending on experience, quality of work, reliability, speed, customer service, and overall performance. Higher pay is available for technicians who can work independently, maintain high-quality standards, communicate well with customers, and consistently complete jobs correctly.
