Staging Crew Member — Heavy Labor / Furniture MoverPosition Summary This is a hands-on staging laborer/mover position — NOT a designer or assistant position. The primary responsibility is moving furniture in and out of homes, loading and unloading a large box truck, driving to staging locations, and following the designer's direction for placement. This is a physically demanding, team-oriented position requiring strength, reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work hard for the duration of each shift. Key Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, decor, and staging materials Drive and maneuver a large box truck to and from staging locations Move and carry heavy furniture safely in and out of homes Follow the designer's direction for furniture placement Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed Hang wall art and decor Wrap and protect furniture using proper moving materials Safely use straps, bungees, dollies, and other moving equipment Protect furniture, walls, floors, doors, and the client's home from damage Work closely with the staging team and designer Maintain staging equipment and vehicles and report any damage or issues Qualifications Must be comfortable driving and maneuvering a large box truck Must be able to repeatedly lift and move 75+ lbs Must be comfortable performing heavy physical labor for approximately 5 hours at a time Must be comfortable working closely with a team and taking direction Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and carry furniture throughout a shift Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work locations Previous moving, warehouse, staging, or labor experience preferred but not required Must be dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Pay & Employment $23-$26 per hour 1099 Contract Position Average 20-30 hours per month As-needed position with potential for temporary-to-long-term work Schedule Requirements Must be available for 3:30 PM-8:30 PM shifts, approximately 2 nights per week most weeks Excluding Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays Must be available for 2-3 Saturdays per month, approximately 8:30 AM-1:30 PM Schedule may vary based on staging needs Starting as early as mid-October

This is NOT a design position and is NOT a light-duty assistant position. This is heavy, hands-on labor. You will spend approximately 5 hours lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, pushing, pulling, and moving furniture. You must be comfortable repeatedly handling 75+ lbs , working hard throughout the shift, using straps, bungees, dollies, and other moving equipment , and working as part of a team. We are looking for strong, dependable laborers/movers who are comfortable with physically demanding work.
