Lead Mover / Team Captain

Lead Mover / Team Captain Part-Time / Full-Time | Roseville, CA College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is seeking experienced, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Lead Movers / Team Captains. This position is ideal for candidates with moving, driving, leadership, or logistics experience who are looking to grow with a fast-paced and professional company. As a Team Captain, you will lead crews on residential and commercial moving and junk removal projects while ensuring excellent customer service, safe operations, and efficient job execution.

Compensation:

$19-$30+ per hour including hourly pay, tips, bonuses, and performance incentives.

Schedule:

Part-time and full-time opportunities available Monday-Friday with weekend availability as needed Flexible scheduling options available

Key Responsibilities:

Lead moving and junk removal crews on residential and commercial jobs Safely load, unload, pack, wrap, and transport customer belongings Drive 16ft-26ft box trucks safely and professionally Provide exceptional customer service throughout every project Maintain job efficiency, crew productivity, and positive team morale Protect customer property, furniture, and job sites from damage Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and management Complete paperwork, inventory tracking, and job documentation as needed Ensure equipment, trucks, and moving supplies are properly maintained Lead by example through professionalism, punctuality, and teamwork

Qualifications:

Previous residential or commercial moving experience

REQUIRED

Box truck driving experience with a valid driver's license

REQUIRED

Leadership or crew lead experience preferred Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to pass a background check
