Mover/Installer - San Francisco San Francisco, CA Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Customer service Regulatory compliance Unloading English Truck delivery (delivery method) Driver's License Packaging Warehouse experience Clean workspace maintenance Entry level Full Job Description Mover/Installer Our Movers are the public face of MEK Enterprises, trusted to transport and handle client belongings and engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner. Our Mover position is responsible for transporting, packing, loading, and unloading through a variety of mechanisms. The position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina, performing all other responsibilities as directed by the Operations Manager as assigned. This is an AT-WILL position and you will report to the Operations Manager. Our Installer position is responsible for loading and unloading the truck, installing furniture according to the directions you receive, and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete. Must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck to client site.
Job Requirements:
MUST be reliable MUST want to work MUST be detail oriented Professionalism, customer service and positive energy to work with a team Assist the Warehouse Team in item processing and pulling items for delivery Able to lift and use moving equipment efficiently Packing, wrapping and marking items so they are protected while in transport Remaining customer service oriented and keeping a positive attitude at all times Must be able to lift heavy items (25 to 100 lbs.) Ability to drive 26-foot box trucks Comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and company policies Ability to bend, twist, walk and stand for extended periods to perform normal job functions Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documentsImportant Criteria:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check and submit MVR from DMV Must have reliable transportation Must have valid driver's license (NO DUI'S orSPEEDING TICKETS
) Must speak fluent English Exhibit ethical behavior in accordance with our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct to complete required training within the allotted time frame May be required to work on weekends and holidays. May need to be "on-call" and last-minute jobs are possible. Hours and schedule may vary as the company continuously accepts reservations from clients.Similar remote jobs
