If you are looking to make a difference in the lives of children, Eye Love Care is the place for you! Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting optometry equipment to various schools in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Woodland Park several times per week. You will load and unload items to prepare our optometry teams to provide in-school services to children in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Duties Load and unload items from the vehicle efficiently and safely without breakage of sensitive equipment. Drive a 16 foot box truck to deliver goods to various locations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Operate a dolly and other equipment as needed for loading and unloading. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle. Assist in inventory management by tracking items loaded and delivered. Requirements Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Ability to pass a background check due to delivery to schools. Ability to pass a drug screen. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) safely. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is beneficial. Familiarity with using a dolly and other moving equipment is advantageous. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Must be able to keep to the company schedulewhich varies from week to week. Salary $1,000 per week is guaranteed as long as deliveries are being made on time. This 1099 position is seasonal to a typical school schedule from the beginning of August through the end of May.
