Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer/Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient moving, packing, and delivery operations. This energetic position combines physical activity with responsible driving, requiring a proactive approach to handling goods safely and providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, packing, and delivering items with precision and care, all while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Duties Safely load and unload items using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary Pack, secure, and organize goods efficiently for transport to prevent damage during transit Operate box trucks or personal vehicles for local deliveries, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Drive commercial trucks or courier vehicles along designated routes, maintaining punctuality and professionalism Load and unload cargo accurately while adhering to safe lifting practices and weight handling standards in the workplace Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update logs, and communicate with dispatch teams effectively Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items promptly, professionally, and courteously Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and adhering to traffic regulations Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous Valid driver's license suitable for operating box trucks or personal vehicles; commercial truck driving certification is a plus Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles or manual handling techniques is beneficial Ability to lift heavy loads safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices Familiarity with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics, driving, and manual handling while contributing to a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
