Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely handling, packing, and transporting items for our clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient moving process. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help deliver exceptional service while adhering to safety standards and traffic regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where physical activity and customer satisfaction are at the forefront of your daily responsibilities. Duties Safely load, unload, and pack items using proper manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies Operate various types of moving trucks, including box trucks and commercial trucks, while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws Use mobile devices to coordinate routes, document deliveries, and communicate with team members effectively Assist with warehouse operations by organizing inventory, preparing items for transport, and maintaining a clean workspace Load and secure items in trucks to prevent damage during transit, ensuring safe weight distribution and load stability Drive route vehicles responsibly, following all traffic regulations, speed limits, and safety protocols during delivery or personal vehicle transportation Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pickups and deliveries, addressing any concerns promptly Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or moving experience preferred; familiarity with manual handling and heavy lifting required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or courier services is a plus Ability to operate box trucks, commercial trucks, manual transmission vehicles, and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation and weight handling in the workplace Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects safely and repeatedly throughout the shift Excellent driving skills with adherence to traffic laws; experience with route driving is advantageous Customer service skills combined with professionalism in client interactions Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Join our team as a Mover/Packer where your energy fuels our success!
