Move Specialist - Packing, Unpacking, Sorting

Duties Manage our cleanout, auction and move teams, including developing project plans, staff scheduling, logistics, and supplies management Client management through the move, cleanout and auction process Provide quality control and training of team members Moving supplies/moving boxes within the client's home Sort, organize and pack household goods to be moved or sold Safely pack and unpack goods Delivery to thrift stores and disposal of unwanted items And more, no 2 days are alike!

Roles and Responsibilities:

Physically Move home furniture and tangible personal property. Physically throw items into dumpsters. Pack, and or unpack boxes. Communicates positively with clients, peers, and team leads. Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack, and stage/resettle client household items Other duties may be assigned as needed. Skills Heart for the Senior community Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and team members Knowledge of load & unload procedures using equipment like furniture dollies, heavy duty dooly Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual labor, and repetitive tasks throughout the day Basic understanding of safety protocols related to moving, lifting

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

 Frequent walking and/or standing, bending and stooping  Stamina to lift items (up to 40 lbs) frequently as needed  Ability to lift heavy items up to 60-100+ lbs
