Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Mover/Packer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the driving force behind smooth moving and packing operations, ensuring that clients' belongings are handled with care, efficiency, and professionalism. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every customer, making their transition seamless and stress-free. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in moving, packing, and logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Safely load and unload items using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack belongings securely using packing materials to prevent damage during transit Disassemble and reassemble furniture or equipment as needed for efficient transport Assist with route driving for delivery or pickup tasks, adhering to scheduled timelines and safety protocols Maintain organization of moving supplies and packing materials in the warehouse or staging areas Load items onto trucks (including box trucks or similar vehicles) and secure loads properly for transportation Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moves and deliveries while providing excellent customer service throughout the process Skills Prior experience in moving, packing, or warehouse operations is highly preferred Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly and safely Knowledge of commercial driving, including operating box trucks or vehicles with manual transmissions Experience with load & unload procedures, route driving, and delivery driver responsibilities Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks is a plus Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients during moves or deliveries Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently while handling heavy lifting tasks and operating vehicles Join us if you're eager to be part of a lively team that values hard work, safety, and delivering exceptional service!
