Paces Restoration, An American Restoration Brand, has over 25 years of restoration experience. We are a 24/7 COMPLETE restoration company. We are a company that prides ourselves in treating our customers with respect and aim to please with the smallest to largest jobs. The Content Mover is responsible for safely packing, moving, cleaning, organizing, documenting, and storing customers' personal belongings during water, fire, smoke, mold, and other restoration projects. This position requires careful attention to detail, proper handling of customer property, physical ability, and excellent customer service. This is a field-based position. The Content Mover will work at residential and commercial properties, storage facilities, company vehicles, and restoration job sites. The position may require flexible hours, overtime, weekends, and emergency response depending on business needs. Essential Responsibilities Pack, move, load, unload, and organize household and personal belongings. Document contents according to company procedures. Carefully handle furniture, appliances, electronics, clothing, household items, and other personal property. Load and unload materials, equipment, and contents from homes, businesses, vehicles, storage facilities, and job sites. Properly wrap, protect, and prepare contents for transportation or storage. Assist with contents pack-outs, pack-backs, and property cleanouts. Maintain accurate documentation and update job information as work is completed. Communicate professionally with customers while working in their homes or businesses. Follow all company safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain clean, organized vehicles, equipment, work areas, and storage spaces. Assist restoration technicians and other team members as needed. Perform other duties related to restoration and contents handling as assigned. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50+ pounds. Ability to repeatedly bend, kneel, stoop, reach, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to work in homes and businesses affected by water, fire, smoke, mold, and other damage. Ability to work in varying temperatures and occasionally confined or uncomfortable spaces. Ability to safely operate hand trucks, dollies, carts, and other moving equipment. Qualifications Previous restoration, moving, warehouse, cleaning, or construction experience preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and company procedures. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Professional appearance and customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred. Key Performance Expectations Customer belongings are handled carefully and professionally. Contents are properly documented. Work is completed efficiently and according to company procedures. Job sites and vehicles are kept clean and organized. Documentation is accurate and completed promptly. Safety procedures and PPE requirements are followed at all times. Customers receive professional and respectful service. Compensation /
