MAC Relocations, a division of Office Furniture Center, is a locally-owned commercial moving & furniture installation company. We are looking for a hard-working & dedication commercial mover to join our team.

Position Summary:

Employees in this role are responsible for the daily activities related to the moving of office furniture and equipment. Your duties primarily revolve around the process of wrapping, packing, and moving office furniture safely from one location to another by either carrying or utilizing standard moving equipment such as dollies and panel carts. Employees are expected to be involved with loading and unloading trucks of furniture and materials on a day-to-day basis. This position will occasionally require employees to interact directly with our clients and project managers to ensure safe and efficient moves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely pack and transport client's possessions from one location to another.
• Ensuring all items are properly placed on moving equipment to ensure safety for both the piece, and other employees
• Loading and unloading trucks of product, and safely transporting them to their destination
• Assembling and placing furniture as needed
• Communicating consistently with office administrators to give progress reports and time updates from job sites
• Interacting politely and professionally with both clients and project managers

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Office or Residential moving experience preferred
• Valid drivers license and experience driving 26ft straight trucks preferred
• Experience utilizing hand and power tools preferred
• Access to personal transportation preferred
• Must be physically capable of lifting and maneuvering a minimum of 100 lbs. consistently and repeatedly required
• Experience deciphering commercial floor plans preferred
• Ability to work 4+ days and 30+ hours a week preferred
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required Compensation
• Compensation rate is based upon factors that include both past-experience and existing skill set
• Eligible for $2.

00 / Hour raise over starting salary after an initial 6 consecutive months of employment
