Duties Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and drivers for local or regional moves Assist customers with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit Load items onto trucks in an organized manner to optimize space and ensure safety during route driving Drive commercial vehicles with manual transmission or automatic transmission, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Unload items at the destination efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Use route planning tools to ensure timely delivery and pick-up schedules for clients Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met Collaborate with team members to coordinate move schedules and handle heavy lifting tasks safely Skills Proven experience in moving services or warehouse environments with heavy lifting involved Valid driver's license with experience driving box trucks or similar commercial vehicles; CDL license is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other loading equipment preferred Knowledge of route driving best practices for efficient delivery and pick-up operations Ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy items safely and efficiently Familiarity with courier or delivery driver roles involving load & unload tasks and route management Excellent physical stamina, attention to safety procedures, and teamwork orientation Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
