As a Driver, you'll be responsible for operating company moving trucks while leading and assisting crews on residential and commercial moves. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and has experience operating larger vehicles safely and professionally. What You'll Do Safely operate company moving trucks to and from job sites Lead and assist moving crews during residential and commercial moves Load, unload, and secure customer belongings for transport Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Navigate routes efficiently while maintaining safe driving practices Ensure all furniture and belongings are properly protected and secured Communicate professionally with customers throughout the moving process Complete required paperwork and job documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle What We're Looking For Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to safely operate box trucks and larger commercial vehicles Reliable transportation to and from work Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused Ability to work weekends and flexible hours during peak season Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Moving Industry Box Truck Driving Delivery Services Commercial Driving Warehouse Operations Crew Leadership Construction or General Labor What We Offer Starting pay of $16.00/hour Cash tips from customers Performance bonuses Paid training Advancement opportunities into Crew Lead and Operations roles Company uniforms provided Positive team-oriented work environment Consistent opportunities for overtime during busy seasons Why Hoosier Buddy Moving?
