Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mover/Packer and become an essential part of delivering seamless moving and packing services. This energetic role involves safely handling, packing, loading, and unloading items to ensure smooth transitions for our customers. You'll play a vital role in maintaining efficiency and safety while helping clients move their belongings with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Safely load and unload household or commercial items using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packing materials and methods Assist with disassembly and reassembly of furniture or equipment as needed for efficient transport Drive box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmission to deliver items to designated locations, following established routes and schedules Ensure all cargo is properly secured before transit and verify delivery accuracy upon arrival Maintain a clean, organized workspace during packing and loading operations to promote safety and efficiency Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate moving schedules and address any special handling requests Requirements Prior experience in warehouse work, moving, or delivery driving is highly preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or commercial vehicles is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods, often involving bulky or fragile items Familiarity with equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks; certification is advantageous but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members Comfortable driving route-driven vehicles with manual transmission in various traffic conditions Physical stamina to stand, lift, bend, and move continuously throughout shifts Prior experience with courier services or load & unload operations will be considered an asset Join us in delivering exceptional moving experiences!
