As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting with the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Duties Safely load and unload items from trucks and other vehicles, ensuring all items are handled with care. Drive box trucks or other vehicles to transport goods to various locations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during moves. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients, ensuring proper organization and protection of belongings. Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as required, moving items of varying sizes and weights. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage area. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during moving assignments. Qualifications Previous experience in customer service is preferred, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. Warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with loading/unloading procedures. Valid driver's license with experience in commercial driving; manual transmission experience is beneficial. Delivery driver experience is advantageous for navigating routes effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Familiarity with moving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is desirable. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
