Job Description

  • Applicant MUST have 5+ years experience with a professional moving company. Please do not apply if only working for a furniture company, moving family and friends, etc.
  • We are looking for a responsible individual to move furniture by loading items into and out of moving trucks.
Movers are responsible for ensuring that items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. To be successful as a Mover you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. You should also be able to plan the most efficient ways to pack items into the moving truck.
Mover Responsibilities:
Wrap furniture in protective material. Load, pack and unload items with care. Ensure that no items are damaged while moving. Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location. Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation. Assists in cleaning truck, tools and equipment. Collects or picks up empty containers and packing material. Must know, use and follow all ALMC safety regulations. Must have professional knowledge of furniture and equipment handling industry-accepted procedures. Must wear uniforms acceptable to Angel L. Moving Company's guidelines.
Mover Requirements:
Must have 2+ years moving experience with a professional moving company. Must be competent to follow guidelines set forth by Angel l. Moving Company. Must have flexible schedule and be a early riser. Physically fit. Punctual and professional. A high school qualification or equivalent would be preferable. A driver's license would be advantageous.
