Mover/Packer

A Mover/Packer Helper assists the moving team with packing, loading, transporting, and unloading customers' belongings safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Pack household or office items carefully using boxes, wrapping materials, and protective padding to prevent damage. Load and unload furniture and boxes onto moving trucks in a safe and organized manner. Wrap and protect furniture with blankets, plastic wrap, and other materials. Assist with disassembling and reassembling furniture when needed. Carry items safely through homes, stairs, elevators, and tight spaces. Label boxes and organize items to make unloading easier at the destination. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck and equipment. Follow safety procedures to protect customers' property, coworkers, and themselves. Provide good customer service by being polite, professional, and respectful in customers' homes. Skills & Requirements Ability to lift heavy items (often 50-100 lbs) and perform physical work throughout the day. Teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail when packing fragile or valuable items. Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude. Basic knowledge of moving equipment (dollies, straps, blankets) is helpful but can be trained. Goal of the Role The main goal is to help ensure that customers' belongings are packed, transported, and delivered safely while providing a smooth and positive moving experience.
