We specialize in commercial doors, residential doors, security hardware, safe moving, and access solutions. As we continue to grow, we are expanding our field team and looking for both experienced technicians and motivated, mechanically inclined individuals who are eager to learn the trade. Job Summary We are seeking a Carpenter Technician / Door Installer / Door Repair Technician to perform installation, service, and repair of doors, windows, and frames. ✅ We are also willing to train the right candidate who: Has a proven background in construction or skilled trades Is a quick learner and strong problem solver Takes pride in quality craftsmanship Is driven by customer satisfaction and doing the job right the first time This is a hands-on, field-based position with daily travel to job sites. Responsibilities Install, repair, and service: Hollow metal doors Wood doors Glass aluminum doors Herculite / all-glass doors Perform glass and window installation, glazing, and repairs Install door hardware (closers, hinges, pivots, locks, etc.) Demo, repair, and install wood and steel door frames Assist with and perform safe moving jobs Diagnose issues and recommend solutions in the field Provide accurate field quotes to management Complete detailed job tickets (materials, labor, scope of work) Maintain clean worksites and ensure top-quality workmanship Communicate parts needs and recommend additional services professionally Deliver excellent customer service on every job Requirements Construction, carpentry, or trades experience strongly preferred (We will train the right candidate with solid hands-on experience) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Ability to work under time constraints while maintaining quality Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship standards Strong communication with customers, dispatch, and management Professional appearance and positive attitudePhysical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs (team lifts required for heavier items) Ability to crouch, kneel, stoop, and work overhead Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Additional Requirements Valid Driver's License with clean driving record Ability to operate a company service vehicle Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance Organized with good inventory and parts management habits Schedule Monday - Friday 10-hour shifts Overtime available Compensation & Growth $22-$35/hour based on experience Negotiable for highly qualified candidates 90-day probation period Performance incentives available Benefits Company truck Fuel card Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off & sick time Employee discount On-the-job training and advancement opportunities Steady, year-round work Ideal Candidate This role is perfect for someone who: Has hands-on experience in construction or trades Enjoys solving problems and working with their hands Takes pride in quality workmanship Learns quickly and wants to grow their skill set Values customer satisfaction and professionalism
