Position Overview We are seeking reliable, hardworking Driver / Movers who can safely operate moving trucks while leading or assisting with moving crews. This role requires strong work ethic, customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding work. Key Responsibilities Driving & Transportation Safely operate 16ft-26ft box trucks Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Plan efficient routes and ensure timely arrivals Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of company vehicles Moving & Labor Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment safely Properly wrap, pad, and protect customer belongings Disassemble and reassemble furniture when needed Handle specialty items (appliances, TVs, safes, etc.) Customer Service Provide professional, respectful interaction with customers Communicate clearly regarding job details and expectations Represent Swiftway Services with a positive attitude and appearance Teamwork & Leadership Work efficiently with crew members to complete jobs on time Drivers may act as crew leaders on assigned jobs Follow company procedures and safety guidelines Qualifications Valid driver's license (CDL not required, but a plus) Clean driving record preferred Prior moving, delivery, or labor experience preferred Ability to lift 75-100 lbs repeatedly Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work in various weather conditions Good communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience (Not Required) Moving company experience Box truck driving (16ft-26ft) Furniture assembly/disassembly Packing and wrapping techniques Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Tips and performance bonuses Opportunities for overtime Growth opportunities (Crew Leader → Foreman → Operations roles) Hands-on training and skill development Work Schedule Flexible scheduling (Full-time / Part-time available) Weekend availability preferred Must be available during peak moving times (end of month, summer season) Why Work With Swiftway?
