Job Summary

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This is NOT a mover position. We work alongside movers, but our focus is on the contents of the home, not the heavy furniture. Move Associates are responsible for carefully and thoughtfully packing, unpacking, and setting up fragile/delicate items, family heirlooms, kitchens, closets, and living spaces. This is a great position for those with a gentle and kind demeanor who can show patience and empathy while working efficiently.

Duties Pack & Unpack:

Perform packing and unpacking duties for residential moves, primarily for seniors.

Set Up:

Unpack and organize items in the new home (kitchens, closets, living spaces) to make them functional and beautiful.

Teamwork:

contribute to a team to ensure the job is done successfully.

Field Work:

Majority of work is performed in clients' homes; some work performed at the company warehouse.

Qualifications Physical:

Ability to lift at least 25lbs, stand, and move around for long periods on a regular basis.

Reliability:

Must provide own transportation to and from the company warehouse in Frederick, MD. Willingness to transport self & co-workers to and from job sites is highly desirable.

Availability:

Flexible schedule (Mon-Fri, occasional weekends). Start/end times vary by job. You will have an assigned start time in the morning, and your day ends when the job is complete. No shift work.

Character:

Must have a joyful, understanding, ethical and patient demeanor while performing job functions.

Experience:

Prior experience in customer service or moving industries preferred but not required; a positive attitude is essential

Screening:

Must be legally authorized to work in the US and successfully pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills to provide top-tier customer service throughout the move process. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Why Join Us?
